My daughter received a Christmas card in the mail from the Obamas. The first thing I thought was, Wow…the Obamas sent everyone in America a Christmas card! Well, that didn’t make any sense because the card was only addressed to my daughter. My daughter was very nonchalant about it, of course, saying, “Well, you know me and the Obamas are tight.” I said, “But aren’t you excited?” She responded,” Mom, I’m trying to sleep. Can you give me a wake-up call at eleven? I have a paper to do.” Well, it was the coolest thing that happened in my week.
